National Faith In Action HIV & AIDS Coalition
The National Faith in Action HIV & AIDS Coalition seeks to create a national, bold, collective voice of diverse faith leaders and inspired individuals throughout the United States to respond to the issues and concerns of HIV both domestically and internationally.
The National Faith in Action HIV & AIDS Coalition will be a clearinghouse for faith-based resource tools and strategies that support the engagement of houses of worship to integrate comprehensive HIV prevention strategies, programs and activities within their congregations and communities.
Members of the coalition will able to post faith-based HIV events and press releases on the site as well as receive weekly updates.

Pre-Conference on HIV
You are cordially invited to attend the 2012 Interfaith Pre-conference on HIV, July 20-21, 2012, taking place prior to the XIX International Conference on AIDS in Washington, DC.
Taking Action for Health, Dignity and Justice: The Interfaith Pre-Conference on HIV will take place prior to the XIX International AIDS Conference. The event will bring together some 750 religious leaders, faith-based representatives, young people and people living with HIV from around the world under the common theme of health, dignity and justice. Pre-conference sessions will focus on the response to HIV from faith contexts, advocacy and on the ground responses.
Call for Proposals
Faith Zone @ Global Village
Unlike other parts of AIDS 2012, the Global Village is open to the general public as well as AIDS 2012 participants and is expected to attract thousands of visitors each day. The Faith Zone will provide an inclusive, innovative and informative space where faith-based visitors can exchange ideas and experiences, and where all visitors to the Global Village can experience the breadth and depth of faith communities’ work in response to HIV. There will be a podium for various events and speakers and comfy sofas for networking and relaxing.

Pre-Conference Registration
Registration for the Interfaith Pre-Conference is now open. Early Bird Registration is available until May 17th. Please note that registration for the Interfaith Pre-Conference is separate from the registration for the XIX International AIDS Conference. If you want to register for the main conference, please do so at www.AIDS2012.org.
The Interfaith Pre-Conference will take place this year at Howard University, a few minutes north on 7th St NW from the International Aids Conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
